Wedding Tips & Lessons Learned! This could take a while listing all the little lessons I have learned, but the big lessons brides should take away from this blog post is: Booking is Key to Keeping Things on Time and on Track. Don’t wait to book your vendors until you have the perfect idea of your flowers/decorations/music, just book a vendor. I have learned that vendors are extremely flexible and the majority want to work with you to make sure your wedding is unique and exactly what you want. So book the vendor that make you feel good and confident you could rely on them. Then take the next few months to hash- out the final details with your fianc. Then go back and finalize everything. It is always better to finalize details with a vendor you already have than to rush around finding a vendor at the last minute. Another big lesson I learned: get your dress early. This was the first thing I checked off my list and it opened up my calendar tremendously so I can shop around for wedding venues and vendors. The dress can be one of the most stressful parts of wedding planning. Get it done and out of the way as early as possible. Don’t forget to follow my wedding hashtag #KSand.
